Approach
Our philosophy is to avoid or settle disputes early wherever possible, leaving you to focus on what you really want: delivery of a first-class project. This is no simple matter and requires the application of knowledge and experience, together with sound commercial judgement.
We provide clients that experience and knowledge combining the three crucial elements necessary for the proper analysis of claims: technical, financial and time under one umbrella, ensuring the dispute is progressed within specified time frames and budgets.
Sometimes however, this is not the approach needed and our teams have the skills and expertise to deal with the full breadth of dispute resolution techniques, whether it be mediation, adjudication, dispute boards, arbitration or supporting court proceedings.
Claims Identification & Preparation
With our wealth of experience and expertise we are able to investigate existing claims and identify routes to claim when works have been delayed and additional costs have been incurred. We can work entirely on the client’s site or offices, but can also work on a remote basis with only occasional demands made on the project team.
We can review your project for evidence of disruption, delays and other factors which have or will give rise to an entitlement to claim. We work with our clients to identify the appropriate strategic approach and, if necessary, full documentation for formal resolution in adjudication, arbitration tribunal or the courts
Claims Defence
As well as employing staff with direct experience of successfully defending and closing large claims, our experience in the preparation of claims gives us a balanced position which is key, in our view, to ensuring claims are settled correctly.
