Our philosphy is to avoid or settle disputes early wherever possible, leaving teams to focus on what the Client really wants: delivery of a first-class project. This is no simple matter and requires the application of knowledge and experience, together with sound commercial judgement. Sometimes this is not the approach that is needed and our team have the skills and expertise to deal with the full breadth of dispute resolution techniques, whether it be mediation, adjudication, arbitration or supporting court proceedings.

Disputes Management

We have valuable experience acting for both claimants and defendants in a variety of disputes processes, from ADR through to support of court action. Through our network of associates we are able to mobilize experienced professionals at very short notice to help our clients meet the short timescales involved. Of particular interest to our overseas clients working with FIDIC contracts is our ability to offer experienced advice and support to a DAB – whether it is attendance at regular meetings or preparation for and attendance at full hearings of disputes of all scale and nature.
